"Boy, I really hate her! The second week of school and we already have to write a stupid autobiography. I'm only thirteen, my life has been so boring, what could I possibly write about? Oh well, let me think a minute, Hmmm, oh, yeah, what about the time the crocodiles almost ate me alive! And, hey, this is good; the time when Dad and I almost crashed on the mountain!"As I wrote chapter after chapter, I was amazed at all of the experiences that I've had. My life hadn't been as boring as I had thought. I have learned to take responsibility for taking care of my dog and my own actions. I've had to deal with my own troubles, along with my friends. I've lost and made new friends, and dealt with the sadness and pleasure of the experiences."By the end of the book, I'm looking forward to the future with both concern and anticipation."But I have learned that having friends and family makes the unknown easier to face."
